Neil is a Vice Chairman of Deloitte Consulting and leads the firm’s relationship with several FTSE 100 organisations. Neil is a Chartered Accountant and specializes in technology enabled finance transformation projects that embrace organisational, process and people related change. Neil’s industry experience is centred around travel, hospitality and services. Outside Deloitte, Neil is also a Governor of Birmingham City University.
Sue was brought up at the College as her father, Alan, was Housemaster of School House, Second Master and Master in charge of cricket. She was educated at Ellerslie School before it merged with the College, initially studying Business at University and later an MA in Educational Management. She was a School Bursar before spending ten years in Commerce and then making the transition to teaching in the independent sector. Sue has taught in prep, GSA and HMC environments and been on their management teams. Since 2011 she has worked with the Independent Schools Inspectorate. Sue works with schools as an education and compliance consultant, trainer and inspector in the UK, Europe, Asia and Africa. She was appointed to Council in 2015, is now Vice-Chair and is also a member of the Management Board.
Robin, an OM, was appointed as Chairman of Council in December 2015 having previously been the College Treasurer. A chartered accountant, qualifying with KPMG, he has over 35 years of private equity and banking experience. More recently, he has been the CFO of Corbin & King, the London based restaurant group and the CFO of The Ink Factory, the film and TV production company behind the award-winning Night Manager drama series where he is now a NED and Chair of the audit committee. A founder director of Heartstone Inns, a regional pub operator, and a NED of Future Biogas, one of the UK’s leading anaerobic digestion operators; he has been a NED and Chair of a number of quoted and unquoted companies in the fund management, media and leisure sectors.
An OM, Ben read history at Trinity College, Cambridge before qualifying as a solicitor in 2002. Having worked with law firms and in the City of London and Milan, he currently practises corporate and commercial law, specialising in the oil and gas sector in the North Sea basin and Asia-Pacific. He was appointed to the College Council in 2017 and is also a trustee of the Malvernian Society.
Louise is an experienced educator and former Head of a bilingual school in Switzerland, where she successfully led the school through a change of ownership. Based in Hong Kong, Louise has lived and worked in Europe, Asia and the USA, making her fully aware of the challenges and rewards for both individuals and schools in changing contexts. A graduate of the Co-Active Leadership ProgrammeTM and an International Coach Federation Certified Coach, Louise is an education consultant specialising in leadership development and culture. She supports leaders through group and individual coaching, team culture and leadership programmes and Leadership Masterminds. She is currently a Doctor of Education candidate at the University of Bath, UK. Louise has a strong personal attachment to Malvern College with both her husband and three children being former students of Malvern College, UK. She is also a member of the College Council.
Keith was educated at Monmouth School and Downing College, Cambridge, where he read Geography, and prior to taking up post as Headmaster of Malvern College served as Deputy Head Master at Harrow School. As Deputy Head at Harrow, he oversaw the day-to-day running of the school, drawing on the various roles he has held during his career including Housemaster, departmental head, school inspector with the ISI and coach of various sports, as well as from his experience of running the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme. A passionate advocate of the opportunities afforded by schools with a strong boarding ethos, Keith sees Malvern College as a school that affords the time and space in which to nurture the whole person, and where pastoral care is at the centre of all that it does. It is within this environment that young people will achieve their best, both in and out of the classroom.
Rob is the Chief Operating Officer of the Malvern College family of schools. Rob has spent the last five years working with international schools in Nord Anglia Education, primarily as the Regional Director of Marketing and Admissions for Europe and the Middle East, based in Geneva. Rob graduated from St Catherine’s College, Oxford and has built a wealth of experience through his early career at Procter & Gamble and WPP, working in the UK, Switzerland and Greece. Rob spent five years in Kenya as Commercial Director and then Council member of Pembroke House School and subsequently as Chief Operating Officer at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the largest rhino sanctuary in East Africa.
Allan was appointed as Commercial Director for Malvern College in 2009 and subsequently took up post as Director of International Schools. In this latter role, Allan is responsible for overseeing the management of Malvern College’s overseas campuses, and for the planning and development of new overseas opportunities. Prior to joining the College, Allan worked at Harrow School as Business Manager for Harrow School Enterprises Limited. He graduated in Music from Cambridge University and has recently served as a trustee for AEGIS (the Association for the Education and Guardianship of International Students) and as a governor for Welland Primary School, a local state school in Worcestershire. Allan is a Director of both Malvern College International Ltd and Malvern College Enterprises Ltd.
Wayne joined the Malvern College family of schools in January 2016 as part of the founding leadership team at Malvern College Egypt. After eighteen years of teaching and managing in international schools spanning Dubai, China, Hong Kong and Egypt, Wayne joined Malvern College International in August 2023. Wayne's experience, including a Headship at an all through school, adapts him well to supporting the continued growth and development of Malvern College International and Malvern College campuses around the world. Wayne holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Royal Holloway, University of London.
Rebecca joined the Malvern College International Team in November 2024 as Associate Director of Education. Previously, her background was in academic educational leadership, having served as Academic Deputy Head at RGS Worcester for 6 years and, prior to this role, as Assistant Head Academic at Queen Mary’s Grammar School in Walsall. In both roles prior to joining MCI, she was successful in raising academic expectations, standards and results, with both schools celebrating national success in Public Examination Results. Rebecca holds a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in History, both from The University of Birmingham. She is also a governor for Lickey Hills Primary School, Worcestershire.
Darrell joined the Malvern College International team in 2022 as Senior Brand Manager. His background is in General Management and Strategic Marketing and has worked in the Technology, Environment and Sports sectors which included 12 years overseas working in Beijing and Paris. Most recently he worked for a Chinese owned Education Consultancy placing students in UK schools and advising schools on their overseas marketing whilst he also served as a NED for a Sports Marketing Agency and for the Wiltshire County FA. He graduated in Business & Economics from Sheffield University and has a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Tom was educated at Rugby School and Newcastle University, where he read Geography. Tom came late to teaching after a decade of working in the Sports Television Production Industry. He travelled all over the world, working on events like the Rugby World Cup, The World Rally Championship and Grand Slam Tennis. He retrained with a PGCE at Buckingham University when he started his teaching career. At Malvern College, Tom is the Housemaster of No.9 and teaches Politics and Global Perspectives. Tom is responsible for the Super Curriculum at Malvern. His role as the Director of Collaboration and Innovation across the Malvern College Family of Schools is developing exciting opportunities for Malvern staff and pupils all over the world.
Bonnie joined the Malvern College International team in July 2024 as Marketing Coordinator. She graduated from Durham University in 2023 with a BA in English Literature, and began her career in a Graduate role at St Catherine's School, Bramley. A lifelong Malvernian, Bonnie attended The Downs Malvern from the age of four before progressing to Malvern College, where she was elected Chapel Prefect.
