Cally Taylor, known as C.L. Taylor, is a nine times Sunday Times best selling author of ten gripping stand-alone psychological thrillers, including ‘Every Move you make’ which was published this March. Taylor’s books have sold over two million copies in the UK alone, have been translated into over 30 languages and have hit the number one spots on Amazon Kindle, Audible, Kobo, iBooks and Google Play. Taylor’s literary talents are wide ranging; Aside from her best-known thriller, she has written romantic comedies, young adult thrillers and short stories. Her YA novel ‘The Island’ won the Portsmouth Book Award in 2022 and the Warwickshire Year 9 Book Awards 2021. She was also awarded a Capital Crime Readers’ Award for her novel ‘Sleep’ and was shortlisted for the CWA Dagger in the Library Award. Taylor attended Ellerslie Girls’ School between 1984-91 before it merged with the then boys only Malvern College. She then studied Psychology at the University of Northumbria and went on to have a career in instructional design and then e-Learning before moving to write full time in 2014. Taylor was awarded an honorary degree of Doctor of Letters from Northumbria University in 2024 in recognition of her success as an author.
