The Latest Edition to our Family of Schools
Having opened in August 2023, Malvern College Tokyo (MCT) is the newest addition to the Malvern College Family of Schools. The school currently accommodates students from Years 1-10 and will extend to Year 13 by 2027, ultimately educating around 900 students.
Combining British Heritage with Japanese Culture
MCT is located in Kodaira and is an authorised MYP and PYP school, aiming to be the first all-through IB British-branded school in Tokyo. The school’s all-through system and holistic curriculum, with a superb co-curricular provision characteristic of a Malvern education, ensures a smooth and vibrant learning experience for all students. The school operates a successful House system which contributes to the excellent pastoral care systems in place by instilling a boarding school ethos into a day school setting.
MCT combines British heritage with Japanese culture in both its ethos and curriculum, ensuring that students develop cultural awareness and ultimately become global citizens and role models. The creative arts provision at MCT is particularly strong, and the school has recently partnered with Sheepdog Theatre Company on a number of projects.
The school is managed by the Headmaster, Mr Ewan McCallum.
