Epitomising a Holistic Malvern education
Malvern College Hong Kong (MCHK) opened in 2018 and is an IB World School offering the continuum of Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme to students from Year 1-13. Whilst IB-based, the curriculum is rooted in the educational heritage of Malvern College in the UK and links to the cultural context of Hong Kong where appropriate, with Chinese language taught at all levels. The purpose-built campus offers a superb environment for teaching and learning and is spread over seven floors, housing a 25m 6-lane swimming pool, auditorium, dance and drama studios, music rooms and exhibition spaces. A two-storey library in the central atrium forms a vibrant hub of exploration, while the Skypitch with Astroturf tops off the building.
The school community is lead by Headmaster, Mr Paul Wickes.
Role Models Within and Beyond the Malvern Community
The academic and co-curricular excellence of MCHK is renowned, with an exceptional number of students achieving at national level or above. Exceptional student achievements include representation on the Hong Kong national dance, golf, volleyball, dodgeball, rugby and football teams, artwork displayed in the Louvre, global Olympiad wins and national music awards. Service as Action is particularly prominent at MCHK, with students heavily involved in community outreach and volunteering.
