Dominic Sandbrook is a well known author, historian, podcaster and presenter. He attended Malvern College between 1988-93 before going on to gain his BA from the University of Oxford, Masters from the University of St Andrews and PhD from the University of Cambridge. Sandbrook has published over 30 successful books on British history, including his highly popular children’s non-fiction series ‘Adventures in Time’ and co-hosts the prolific ‘The Rest is History’ podcast. ‘The Rest is History’ has been downloaded over 150 million times since it’s launch in 2020, and in 2023 was awarded the President’s Medal by The British Academy making it the first ever podcast to receive this prestigious honour. Sandbrook maintains a close connection to Malvern College, recently delivering the 2024 Blumenau Lecture on his ‘Top 10 British Prime Ministers’ and is a member of the Malvern College School Board.
