Charis C

Charis is a dedicated student from Malvern College Hong Kong, with a deep passion for leadership and music. Since joining the college at the age of 11, she has honed her diverse talents, becoming an effective communicator and a reflective learner. As a music scholar, Charis frequently performs in assemblies, music recitals, special events, and graduation ceremonies at school. She is also perusing double majors in Piano and Percussion at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, while studying harp at the Hong Kong Music Office. Among her notable achievements are performing in the HKPhil Fundraising Concert with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and winning the Grand and First Prize at the VI Liszt Ferenc International Competition in the Piano Senior Category B.

Beyond her musical pursuits, Charis is an active leader within her school community. She has served as Deputy Head of House in the 2023-24 academic year and is currently the Head of House for the 2024-25 academic year. In these roles, she has led numerous house events and forged strong bonds with her house members. Charis has also been recognised with the Music (subject) and MYP Service prize-giving awards for her dedicated support of Breadline, where she volunteers and manages donors and events. Her other interests include visiting art exhibitions, café hopping, writing articles, and attending Model United Nations conferences.
